Then my family came out for Thanksgiving and I cooked my first meal! We fed a total of 15 people! My family, my husband, and many Marines and a few other spouses! It was a BLESSED day and I was very happy my friends and family allowed me to cook and host Thanksgiving!
The 2nd picture is of myself and my baby sister at the warf! This was the 2nd time she was/and has ever been to the ocean!
The 3rd picture is of us Ice skating in Monterey! This was the 1st time she has ever done that before and she loved it!
The 4th picture is of our Thanksgiving dinner table (s) haha!! Oh Yum it looks so great!!!
After Our house was packed up, loaded on to a truck and taken away to Texas The Husband and I then loaded the car up and made out way south and east! hehe! First stop was VEGAS!! WE didn't do much b/c 1 I was a month shy of 21 and 2 we were making sure we had money to get us home and Christmas gifts taken care of! But we made a promise that if we get stationed back out there we will def. be stopping and making a better trip out of it!
After Vegas we headed and crossed over Hoover Dam! That was really neat!!
We were then going North to the Grand Canyon, but it was snowing and we couldn't see as we were driving so we decided that when we make the Vegas trip we will also make a trip to the Grand Canyon! hehe
We made it home and had a week home before we had to check in to Good Fellow.
After we checked in he took leave and for our 1 year anniversary I bought us 2 tickets to the Sun Bowl game to watch his team Notre Dame!! They won that game and Husband said I have big shoes to fill for next years gift hehe.
We came back to Angelo on the 3rd and he started class! As for me, I don't really have enough time to get a job since we will only be here for 6 months and I wouldn't want to do that to anyone! So I'm hanging out at home (bored) if I might add haha. I'll be going back and forth between here and our "home" Alpine! I also plan on visiting family members that are around the area that I don't get to see as often as my main family!
Soo I promise I will be better at this!! Even if they are just corky posts! hehe. ;-)
