Puppy Pictures

These pictures I have taken over a few weeks and just had the time to play with them. Mister and I haven't been out doing much so there aren't really any fun pictures to share. But these are our girls. We have lazy girls hehe. ;-)

Allie was put in the kitchen because we were playing games in the living room and she was bugging us. We put the chairs to keep her in the kitchen and this is how sad she looks hehe.

 

Lillie is my cuddle puppy. She is so intuned with my emotions its very funny. She always knows when I'm sad or upset. She is always right next to me.

Weekend Recap without pictures.

My snappy happy fingers don't seem to be real snappy happy lately. I have been slacking on the taking pictures.

We didn't do much this weekend anyway that would have involved me to take pictures.

Saturday I went to a 5 year olds birthday party and met a few new people.

When meeting these people I figured out that you could totally figure out someones character on how they parent. I know I'm not a parent but being around many and seeing the different types I think that when I do become a mom I'll rock everyones world. (I'll do a post on how I figure the character of moms sometime this week)

After the party Mister and I went to Best Buy to price a new computer and washer/dryer set.

We then went to Toys R Us and bought a new board game to play. We had game night with a few friends and it was a total blast!

Sunday we went downtown and walked the main streets and the beach for a little bit. We then got his favorite pizza and he chowed down on that. ha!

My new term starts on Wednesday I thought it started today but I guess I was wrong. Ooops! Oh well I need to get a new notebook anyway.

I have edited some pictures of our puppies that I will share this week as well.

Update:

I know I went MIA again.

My semester ends on the 31st so I needed to buckle down and complete two more classes. Which I successfully did. One was History and I had my final test a day before my birthday. I didn't do well on the practice tests so I was really worried I wasn't going to do well on the real test. When my test score came back with a 95% I about had a heart attack. I love History but I sure do like to question it and as why is it that way or this way. Why don't we do it this way or that way. For 3 weeks I drove Mister insane with how much I would ask. My mentor emailed me the next day and was shocked with my scores as well. She even said that its very rare for students to get such a great score on this test. Asked me if I wanted to be a student mentor and I about died laughing. Ha me help other students? I think not!

My other test I just passed it. It was nothing special but it was a hard test and I'm glad I'm through with it.

My 22nd birthday was on Jan. 20th. A good friend took me out to lunch the day before to my favorite restraunt ever, Olive Garden. I love their soups, salads, and breadsticks deal!! And then she got me my favorite dessert rassberry cheesecake and had the crew sing happy birthday to me. Totally embarrassing. lol. For my birthday this same friend made me lunch, rented some awesome movies from the RedBox (the best thing ever since sliced bread) and also got me a cake. After the movies and before I left she got me a present and it was a brand new knife set. And they are an awesome set if I may say so! I love them, but I'm totally afraid to use them. For dinner Misters friend and his girlfriend (who are now my friends) were so nice and made me a yummy birthday dinner. I was very shocked at how wonderful they are. I have only known his girlfriend for a few days and she went all out. I felt very loved!!

The past few weekends we have pretty much been glued to our sofas for the NFL playoffs. And after the Giants win last week I have one happy husband because they are going to the Super Bowl. Unfortunatly we just found out yesterday that Mister has Duty on Super Bowl Sunday so he is now sad. I suppose I can just DVR it and not watch it and wait for him to watch it the next day! 

As far as the house goes I am completely unpacked. I don't have a single box left in the house. I still have a few wall art that needs to be hung up and my office isn't organized yet. But with time I will get those complete.

I thinks thats a good update for now. I have to run to get some grocerys and then today is bathroom cleaning day. I hope everyone has had a wonderful week and will have a great weekend. ;-)

New camera?!

I don't think I have mentioned, but I got a new Camera for Christmas. So its not a Rebel, but its a tad better than my old 5 year old camera! ;-) I love my new camera. I haven't yet had a chance to actually try to concentrate while taking pictures I just kinda take them. But I do plan on practicing and concentrating real soon.

Yesterday I went to the beach with my dear friend and my boys. Yes I said my boys. Well Callan is my baby at least! Em and I butt heads alot and baby Beckett cries everytime I hold him so we aren't friends yet ha!

I took my camera even though I didn't think I would have a chance to actually use it. Between running after Callan from jumping in the baby waves to collecting Big Shells for my collection I was surprised I was able to take a few pictures.

Here is one I took and then today I decided to get on Picasa to edit it a little bit and see if I could see my babys face.

You can see how dark it is. It was almost time for the sun to go down so I think that had a little to do with it, but I also wasn't looking in the camera when I took it haha!



I just played around with the colors for a little bit until I could see Callans face and I was in love with this! Hope y'all like it!

I was told again this week I was crazy for enjoying the water. They think the water on this coast is so cold but I think its refreshing. ;-) So did Callan! ha

I will have to run upstairs and get the box of the camera to tell what kind it is if any of y'all care to know because I don't know off the top of my head.

Update on the Vet today.

Allie's appt went ok. She got two shots, her microchip, and was tested for heartworm. Luckily heartworm came back negative so that was a good thing! But the vet is worried about the "ball" on her left front foot. He felt it and squeezed it and tried to move it but it seems to be attached to something. He thinks it might be cancer so he gave us a good recommendation for a vet out in town that can do a surgery and biopsy it. Unfortunatly its going to have to wait a few months because he said it might cost up $500-$800 dollars and we just don't have that right now.

He said other than that she is a healthy 125 pound GREAT DANE and may need a teeth cleaning ha!

We go back in 3 weeks to add to one of the shots and then in February we will take Lillie and do the same with her! ;-)

Prayers for Allies "ball" to not be cancer will be greatly appreciated! ;-)

Just some funny little updates

We are back home from Christmas vacation and pretty much settled into our new home.

I don't know if I mentioned but we did move again to a new house but in the same place.

Its a 2 bedroom, 1 and 1/2 bath, 1 car garage. Its beautiful and I'm happy.

Most def. the best house I've had since we've joined the Marine Crops.

We have both dogs here again.

They have had a few fights but they are getting better. I just have to "yell" at them and they get over it.

I have began my work out schedule. And so far I'm really enjoying it.

I'm going to be fully concentrating on my school work this month because my semester ends on the 31st. So that means my social life will be put on hold.

Yesterday morning I did my morning work out and when I got home took down the barrier that keeps Allie in the kitchen. (Lillie has her own room when we are both away) I ran upstairs to take my shower. When I came back down I found my Lucky Charms box torn to pieces and my Lucky Charms all over my LIVING ROOM FLOOR. Momma was not happy!!

Allie had managed to open the pantry door and get the box of cereal. Funny thing though, she didn't eat them she just scattered them all over the floor! Ha

Yesterday afternoon I attempted to take both dogs out at the same time. If you don't remember Allie is a 4 year old GREAT DANE and Lillie is a 3 year old mix of walker hound and possibly pointer. Needless to say that didn't work out to well. Allie kept trying to tangle me up and I was starting to panic, worried that I was going to fall and the dogs were going to run.

There isn't a day in this house with these dogs that isn't an adventure!

Today Allie has a VET appt. at 1 and I'm so not looking forward to that! Please pray for us ha!
