My Baby Turns 1!!

It has been a crazy week with Ryleigh turning one. We've had such a great time the past week and we had even more fun at her first birthday party!!!

I kept the theme of her nursery for her first party. Pink and Grey Chevron with Elephants.

Here are a few of the pictures from her Party!!

52 weeks of Ryleigh up on that window of pictures!! #WeeklyRyleigh

She loved the cupcake Gamma (my mom) gave her!!
Daddy bought her her Bubble Guppie chair and she loved it!!

12 Months Old

The last few weeks of her #WeeklyRyleigh Posts

48 Weeks
She gained 4 teeth this week. She can grab her shoes and take them to you and sit down for you to put them on. She also asks anyone to pick her up and talk to her. We spent this week in Alabama with Daddy.

49 Weeks
Looks like she is cutting a few more teeth. She can now say 6 words. She also almost has Heidi and Lillie down as far as words go.

50 Weeks
She is really running. She loves to runaway and you chase her. When you ask "Where's Ryleigh?" she puts her hands over her face like she is hiding.

51 Weeks
She loves chocolate. Mom knew this from Valentines day but forgot when Easter came around. She was also introduced to Whole milk with her "milk milk" and seems to be adjusting well. She knows how to "roll it" for patty cake now. She can also say bye. She now has two more teeth up top. That is a total of 6 within a month!

52 Weeks
This is the last #WeeklyRyleigh post. She learned this week to say Addy when she wants to talk to her best friend. She showed me that she can climb up all the way to the top of stairs. She also knows how to get off the bed.

And she is ONE!!

Ryleigh-rooo is officially one.

I took the day off and spent the whole day with her. I decided that since on her first day in this world we spent it together that we would spend every single birthday together until she tells me I'm not cool.

Today we got up and got ready for the day.

This is the second part of her Birthday outfit that my friend made for her.

Not sure if you can see it but it says her name below the elephant.

We had lunch at Chick Fil A followed by play time in the play yard and then ice cream.
We went to the mall and walked around and then went to Target and got a new toy.

We had the best day! I can't wait to celebrate with her every year!!

Ryleigh's Birthday Shoot!

Our Little Fire Cracker Turns ONE!!!

We went down to Austin the weekend before her Birthday because I had a photo shoot. Luckily for me we passed several fields of Blue Bonnets. Of course I stopped to take those pictures!!

Her nursery theme if you don't remember was pink and gray chevron and elephants. I am obsessed with elephants!

Her Birthday outfit was made by a dear friend who I grew up playing softball with.

She made the perfect outfit. This is just part of it. This outfit flips inside out and the inside of it is pink polka dots with her all three of her initials.

She loved being in the flowers!!

Luckily there were no snakes!!

This out fit I put together from scraps. The bow and the bloomers came from my friend who made her outfit.

The leg warmers came from a website.

As well as the shoes from another website.

Don't you just want to pinch that booty!!

She liked hanging out in the basket.

I let her do what she wanted to do with her shoot and I just shot the pics. ;-)

She is such a little ham!

I sometimes wonder how I got so blessed!

Her first time getting cake. She wasn't so sure about it.

After a little taste she decided it was pretty yummy!

She then decided to stick her foot in it.

So yummy. She went way down to grab a bit to eat of the cake. ;-)

When she was done eating she decided she wanted to sit on the cake. lol

Sit on the cake and eat it. Look mom I can do both lol.

Easter Weekend

This past weekend we celebrated another Easter!!

My grandparents have a ranch so my family decided we would go out there Saturday and come home Sunday.

To say that this weekend was uneventful is an understatement. ;-)

But we still had a blast!

This year all three grandbabies were able to hunt the Easter Eggs.

I think Ryleigh really enjoyed it!!

OH and this year Ryleigh got to see the Easter Bunny!!! Luckily for me I knew who they were and they made a house call just for me!!

Being at the Ranch and being dirty we were in Ryleigh's element. She loves the play with rocks and dirt!
