Sunday

So this morning I woke up and got ready for nursery duty. Today I only had the twins. After I held Emma for little bit while her momma got some business taken care of. I made it home to find my Mister already eating breakfast lol. So I got him in the car and we went to the DMC. He got his weekly haircut and then we headed to Costco. We priced a few items and then I got a little something to fill my stomach. We then went to REI and we looked at camping stuff and then went to Target and I bought a box for my scrapbook paper. I'm in love with this box haha.We then came home and I started laundry and I also started to water my yards. I made a pizza for dinner and we watched a little bit of tv. It was a nice and relaxing day here at the Banegas house hold. Tomorrow I go back to watching Emma and I'm ready for some baby time! ;-)

I'm going to log off now and take a warm bath and just relax a little before bed. I hope you all have a great week.

Update on whats going on in our house hold.

So this week was my first week away from Macy's, and may I say I was in love with life! Monday through Wednesday was absolutely amazing. It was sunny all three days. And warmer then the norm. Tuesday was a little bit HOT for us being as to how we are so use to the 56 Normal degree weather. It got up to 86 degrees. I actually sweated a little. I got a little sun burn YAY! ;-)

Thursday I started my nanny duty. I started watching Emma and it so far has been fun. We just hung out at her mommies home on Thursday, but Friday afternoon she and I adventured out and went to Macy's to pick up my last check, to the commissary to get a few items, and then to my house to make a pecan pie for the girls night that evening.
I don't know if I have mentioned before, but when I go to the commissary alone I freak out. I can't do it. I stop breathing and I get very shaky and I start to feel faint. But if I have my Mister with me I do a lot better. I have gone to the commissary once with a friend thinking I would be ok, and I did do a little better, but I still did get a little "sick." I have no clue why I do this. Well when Emma and I went I first couldn't figure out where to put her car seat. I was struggling with it. Finally an older (retired military) walked up and asked if he could help, my response, "Yes, but I don't know how you could help me because I don't know what I am doing" he laughed and pulled the bigger carts out and put her in the big part of the cart. Well that worked and I thanked him and was able to make it through the isle real fast and to the self check out. That is when I really started to feel a little sick. I hurried so I wouldn't faint (b/c I didn't even have my cell on me it was in the car and I don't want people to know me as the girl who faints at the commissary lol.) I always wondered how I would do at the commissary with a child. I had seen of course plenty of moms with 2,3 kids and they seem ok, I wondered if I would be ok with one. Well I guess that is a no. lol. Lesson learned for when we do have our first.

Last night I went on to my girls night at Sgt. White's house. His wife Christina is awesome. So are all the other ladies that were there and I had a blast of course. We had yummy food and yummy pie ;-) and just a fun fun time. When I got home Mister was still awake which is a surprise b/c he is usually asleep on these nights I go out. We headed off to bed with intentions of sleeping in until 0930. Well I slept in until 1130 haha. I got up hit the shower and got ready. We had Mando-Fun-Day on base with the rest of his company. The Junior enlisted played baseball against the NCO's and we lost (I say we, I mean the Junior Enlisted) by a point. The ladies were laughing at me as I Yelled and Cheered on my Mister. He played third base and did an awesome job. My friend Brittany said "He's an All Star" I couldn't agree more with that statement. ;-)

When we got home we laid in bed and watched the last 2 episodes of his "show" and then I fell asleep to take a nap. I woke up at 1830 and got to playing on the computer. I ordered some more pictures and played on facebook for a little bit. I also continued my painting project. Last week I had started my Wedding Scrap Book I finished it last Sunday. I have/had nothing else to do and I needed something creative to do, I needed another project. So I found a box that I decided to paint black and then put a design in red and this box will hold my coupons that I cut or the coupons that my Grandmother sends me. ;-)

I am going to head off to bed now. I'm so tired today and I have no clue why lol. I hope you all have a great Sunday.

What we have been up too.

So lets see...Monday was just an ordinary day at Macy's all day long...blah.
Tuesday I worked half a day and Chelsea, Kirsten, Emma and myself headed to Gilroy Outlet malls after lunch with Brittany and Elias. We had a ton of fun and I got a cute outfit for my nephew Braden and a shirt for each of my other two nephews Derek and Jason.
Wednesday I worked a full day, but the lovely ladies came and ate lunch with me at Chipolte.
Thursday I was off and I enjoyed myself with the Ladies at Jamies. I helped her paint the letters for her unborn son's room.
Friday I worked half a day. It was my last day and the manager wanted me to work all day long, but she was really really really rude and I just walked right out of there at 1030 and never went back lol. I came home and got to work on my Wedding scrapbook that I had started the night before. ;-)
Saturday the girls came over and we spray painted Courtney's wedding flowers and just hung out. After that Eric and I headed to the DMC for dinner at La La Grill. I had a yummy roasted stuffed with wild mushrooms chicken. Best thing ever. Before the girls came over I "Marine" cleaned my house. I like totally turned it upside down and it looks great!! ;-)
Today (Sunday) I got up and headed to church for the nursery duty. Today I had 4 babies. Wow since last week I only had 0 lol. I also had a little helper who was 8 yrs old and her name was Samantha. She reminded me alot of me lol. Scary. After church I came home and got back to work on my wedding scrapbook. I started it Thursday did a few pages, did a few more Friday, a few more Saturday morning and evening, and then I did the last 5 pages today. It is complete and looks great. After I finished that I did the last 3 loads of laundry and took a nap. I'm waiting for the last load to dry and then I'm heading back to bed. I didn't make dinner tonight, Mister said he wasn't hungry. But I caught him making two sandwiches with my homemade bread that I made yesterday. (That was 2 lbs, and now there is prolly 2 slices left lol)

Starting Thursday I start staying home as Emma's nanny!! I'm very excited. On the first I stop drinking all Cokes, (I might even do all caffeine) candy, and I'm going to try to not do junk food. I have done this before. I did it for 2 years (well the no caffeine part) and I really loved how I felt. I just don't know how I'm going to do now?? lol Wish me luck luck luck.

So I have a dress, a little black dress, for the Marine Corps Ball. Its cute and very classy. I still need shoes and some piece of jewelry. I will also make an apt. to get my hair did up at the same place I did last year. I really really liked the lady. I'm quiet excited for this years ball. ;-)

My flowers that my husband bought me last week with the movie Up are still alive. I've also watched the movie 3 times this week haha. ;-) Today he bought me Toy Story 1. Next month I'm going to try to get Toy Story 2 and Shrek. I don't know which Shreks I need but I going to get at least one of the 3 that are already out on dvd. I also need to get Alice in Wonderland before it leaves Target to. (I am collecting all the Disney movies for my babies some day) I have alot to get lol. But I don't think I need them for the next year and a half I think. lol...

I also made my first blanket this week. I made it Wednesday. Its just the simple one where you get two of the same size fabric and you cut the inlets and then you tie them...I only got a yard of each fabric. I did one side green cammies, and the other just a brown. Its soft soft soft fabric and Mister loves it. But its two small for us to cover our body. I wrap it around my feet and legs at night, but I call it my first baby blanket lol. (for a boy of course)

Wednesday I also painted Emma's name. I bout the letters in wood at Micheals and I painted them light purple, pink, yellow, and blue. I did polka dots also they are really really cute. I can't wait to be able to do that for my own baby.

Kirsten also showed me how to sew. I'm really excited about that and I'm getting ideas for Christmas already lol. ;-)
Well I guess that is good enough for today. My laundry is finished, and I'm ready for bed. ;-)

Another fantastic weekend!!

Well and update on my weekend. ;-)

So Friday after work I picked up Jamie, Jessica and Emerson. We met Brittany, Elias, Kirsten and Emma at Papa Chanos for lunch!! YUMMO!!!
After our lunch we headed to Salinas for some fun Shopping!!! And It was really fun!! We hit up the mall and then we hit up and did damage to Michaels. ;-)

After we got home I picked up Brittany and we went to Kirstens for a girls night in with Sarah and Courtney. I love all of these girls who made my week fantastic.

Saturday the Mister and I headed out to town. We had a nice lunch at California Pizza Kitchen and then headed to the show. We watched "the Expendables" it was a really good movie. I loved it.

After we hit Target for some house work shopping and then headed home. Mister cleaned out my car and I rearranged the bedroom. I think we have a ton more room like this then we did before.

This fantastic morning I got up and ready for my nursery duty. I didn't have any babies today so I sat in their service. I'm Catholic and this isn't a Catholic church, but it was a nice service.
After Kirsten and I went out for Breakfast yummy. Then we picked up her laundry and headed back to my house. We started her laundry and headed to Target to pick up a few items. I got us some socks...we both manage to not have any haha.
After Target we went to Beverlys. I got some cloth to make me a blanket and she got me some letters for Emma and some paint and stuff that I get to make for her room. ;-) (Emma is the baby girl that I get to start staying home with. I'm the nanny. And now getting so close to being like an aunt. ;-))
We came home and switched around the laundry then headed off to the commissary for our grocerys. I always get so stressed when I go and I have yet to figure it out as to why I do.
When I got home I put away the grocerys and then sat down to watch tv. I wanted to watch "Up" while Mister makes me dinner. (I haven't a clue why he wants to make dinner, but I'm quite excited he makes some good food) As I'm sitting here trying to find up on the Wii Netflix Eric comes in to the living room from the bedroom with pink flowers and the movie "Up" we have been looking for it everywhere. haha. And he finally bought it for me. ;-) YAY!!!

Whats up my sleeve

So once again I have been MIA, I feel like if I just sit down and blog about my day I will bore you all. Then I got to thinking, well...I don't blog for them I blog for myself. I blog to be able to come back in a few years and reread some of this stuff and remember. So I think I am going to work on it for myself. ;-)

So if you haven't noticed besides the fact that I start most sentences with "so" that I also use a ton of these ";-)" I love to smile. haha

This week has been just dragging on, but I kinda want it to. Only because I think the sooner we get to December the sooner Mister graduates, the sooner we are in Texas, the sooner he graduates from there, the sooner we get our Duty station, the sooner comes a deployment. And well I (like any other military wife) doesn't look forward to that day. Now I'm not saying that I didn't know it was gonna come. Of course I did/do. I'm ready for it (well as ready as anyone can be and luckily I have a few years to get more ready for it) My husband joined the Corps because he wanted to do something for his Country. Not because of the money (because trust me when I say I married poor lol that is an inside joke btw) but because he wants his wife to live in a free country he wants his future children to live in a free country.

Monday after work I walked over to a friends to just hang out. We picked up another friend and the three of us and their boys (each have a 1 yr son) headed on down to Target for some "look" shopping. It was fun but short for I had to leave early to pick up Mister from work.

Tuesday and Wednesday I worked all day long both days so not much happened. Last night for dinner I had a bag of Marshmallows. Yes I know how sick lol...but oh they were sooo good.

Today after work I went to Melissa's and Christie was there. Melissa had a bag full of clothes to go threw and try on and have what I wanted. It was funnn!!! After that I headed on to Jamies and they were having their weekly get together. It was nice to meet to other wives, and see some beautiful faces. I love getting some "real" people time. People who talk back to me haha. My dogs don't do that. lol.

Mister and I went to burger king for dinner. I don't know why, but I was craving it. lol I know its terrible food for my body but I had to have a burger lol. Let me just say these burgers are tiny!!!! I don't know if its b/c its burger king or if its California, but I've never had a small burger before. It didn't fill me up (which kinda isn't a surprise being as to how I can eat a ton more then Mister haha) so I had to order large fries and a large coke to go with it.

Tomorrow I only work half a day and then I believe I am having lunch with Kirsten and Emma. Maybe a little bit of shopping and then we are prolly going to head on over to Jamies. Jessica and I have some planning of a baby shower to do. ;-) FUNNNNN I sure do love to do things like that!

I am really really missing my neighbor Marline...my best friend. :-( She is still away back East and its so quiet here at the houses. :-( I hope she comes soon.

Well I'm gonna call it a night. I have to shower and then go to bed. I have one more day to get up and then its the weekend and I can sleep in Saturday. YAY I hope you all are having a fantastic week!!

This fantastic Sunday

This morning I got up and off to a great start! I got ready and headed into town to help at a friends church (We are Catholic, but my friend isn't so thats why I was at her church) to do the nursery. I loved it!! I only had two little boys today. TWINS!! Very cute I might add! After that service was over I held Emma for a little bit and then I headed off to my "church" haha for mass! It was a great service and I really enjoyed finally going.
When I got home I found Mister already working on the back yard. Our yard has been destroyed and needed some attention. So we finally gave it the attention. We left the girls (dogs)  inside while we worked outside. We weeded, and then we racked everything up. I filled in all the wholes the girls have dug, and I swiped off all the dirt on the walk way and on the little itty bitty patio we have haha. Then I brought the water hose and the sprinkler over to the back yard and ran it all over the yard. I SOAKED the yard haha. Hopefully we can get it back to looking like we had it before! ;-)
After we came inside and I cleaned the floors and the guess bedroom. I finished laundry and put it all away. I cleaned Lillies kennel and rearranged that room. Then I also cleaned out the girls (dogs) toy box (yes they have a toy box) and I threw away a bunch of the destroyed toys haha. All that is left is to make dinner and watch Army Wives! ;-)
All in All this Sunday has been a GREAT DAY!! I have to say I am a pretty happy wife.  

I'm not ready to go into work tomorrow. I have to keep telling myself only 2 more weeks but ugh I'm so ready for two weeks to be over! haha. I hope everyone has a GREAT week!!

The past few days...

So I've been MIA for a while and I am sorry! So I left off on a Sunday...almost two weeks ago. And that Sunday I had been checking my work schedule and my manager hadn't scheduled me so I was just planning on staying home. Well...Tuesday morning I got a call (which I didn't answer b/c of the great cell service out here) and she said it was her fault that I didn't make it on the schedule and she needed me to come in the rest of the week...so I did...I worked Wednesday-Saturday 4 hrs each day except on Saturday I only worked 2.
Wednesday night we had dinner at Duffys with a few Marines and a baby and a mother of a Marine. The baby was Emma (whom on Aug. 30th I will start staying home with her when her mommy has to go back to her Marine work) It was a fun night of chatting and baby holding.
Nothing exciting Thursday, but Friday Kirsten, Emma, (mommy and daughter) and I drove to Salinas to Bev Mo for some cokes and such. I have been looking for blue cream soda and I finally found some. I also go the Mister some root beer!
Saturday after work I came home and the Mister was still sleeping so I crawled back in bed to snuggle.  I feel asleep and didn't wake up until 2pm. I got up cleaned the house and then made pork chops, mashed potatoes, and corn on the cob for Vis and Mister. It was a nice evening. Sunday we still didn't make it too mass! :-(

Monday -Thursday I worked all day everyday. (which was good for the money haha) I put in my two weeks notice on Friday (yesterday) and I only worked 3 hours for Mister had an Arabic picnic that I HAD to go to haha. ;-)
That was a ton of fun but I was exhausted. So when we got home I took a quick nap and then got ready for a game night at Kirstens. That started at 6. She had pizza, the Sandovals brought cokes, and I took a yummy dessert!! We played clue, Mister and I came in second, b/c I didn't roll an 8!! haha. WE had a ton of fun with everyone. (oh Clue only allows 6 players and we had a total of 8 so we did teams of 2 and had four teams. Still a lot of fun!!!

Today is cloudy and cold and I will prolly stay in all day. Between my bed and cleaning a little bit. Mister will prolly play his xbox games and walk the dogs. Tomorrow I have church nursery duty at 9 and then mass at 11 so I'm really excited. (we are actually going to make it this week) ;-)
